The Steel Panto SP-04 draws inspiration from the wireframe glasses used by WWII submarine periscope operators, a timeless design that has remained iconic. In the 1960s, this style evolved from military gear to a symbol embraced by the counterculture movement. Our version is crafted from 2mm certified recycled stainless steel and features intricate Japanese wave engravings on the nose bridge, hinge areas, and inside the acetate temple tips. Equipped with durable 3-barrel German steel hinges and subtle branding on the outer temple tips, this frame supports prescription lenses and is produced in a family-owned factory in Martignacco, Italy.
