3sixteen was founded in New York in 2003 by Andrew Chen, and Johan Lam. They worked with esteemed Kuroki Mills in Japan to develop their flagship denim which is used in many of their pieces. They exquisitely blend vintage inspiration, old style construction methods, with modern looks. Their core collection is a go to for many regulars in the shop, and their seasonal collections always are a massive hit. 

Ampal Creative

Since 2010 Ampal Creative has been making everything exclusively in the USA. They search for local jobbers and manufactures of the best textiles and prints. They often use deadstock materials. They are hands on every step of the way to ensure the highest level of quality. Make sure to check out the TENDREL x Ampal Creative collab hat designed by Beau Brown.


Battenwear's Shinya Hasegawa uses vintage surf and outdoor wear as a jump off point, then designs the pieces for the contemporary adventurer. Battenwear is made to handle the demands of the great outdoors while still being fashionable for everyday city wear. Founded in NYC in 2011, they opened a design studio in Topanga Canyon in 2017. Their take on Coastal clothing fits our cozy shop one block from the beach perfectly.

The first Native American owned and operated denim company, Ginew creates Native Americana clothing. They are family owned and produce their goods in small batches. Each of their pieces leans into longevity, durability, and expression of their Native American Identity. 

Gitman Vintage

Gitman Vintage is American made shirt company with a rich heritage going back to the 30's. They have perfected the classic Oxford shirt, and have been making them the same as they did in the 70's. They put quality above all else, and expertly play with fabrics and patterns every collection.

Iron Heart

Founded in 2003 by Haraki, Iron Heart has been leading the denim world for years. They have developed a devoted cult following, and their Iron Heart Army grows everyday. Iron Heart has taken classic styles of American Workwear and taken them to an extreme level of quality. 

We are honored to carry Iron Heart at TENDREL. They were the first brand of Japanese denim that I ever wore and have been hooked ever since.

Summer Solace Tallow

We looked all over for the perfect candles for the shop, and we have found them. Summer Solace Tallow is a small, family-owned business dedicated to producing slow-made, deeply nourishing, organic tallow-based skincare and home goods, established in Spring 2014 by organic chef and gardener Megan Bre Camp in Oakland, California.
