The yarn is spun on the Ishikawadai ring spinning machine, Japan's oldest operating spinning machine. The original hanging knit fleece is then dyed with Bengala. The natural unevenness inherent in natural dyes is a key characteristic of this fabric. The hanging knitting machine operates slowly, avoiding unnecessary tension on the yarn and preserving the cottons natural texture. Even after knitting is completed the fabric remains stored under the machine, ensuring that the intrinsic qualities of the cotton are not lost.

Sizing Notes This fit a size small. I am wearing a size XL in the photos for a more fitted feel, could go 2XL if I wanted it a bit oversized. I generally wear L in most tees/shirts. I am 6' 1" 175lbs.
