9oz Selvedge Flannel Check Work Shirt Sax Blue

A lighter weight take on Iron Heart’s legendary flannels, built for year-round wear while still carrying all the texture, depth, and character the brand is known for. These 9oz selvedge unbrushed flannels offer the same rugged feel as the Ultra Heavy Flannels, just in a more breathable build that’s easier to throw on through spring and summer.

For SS26, Iron Heart revisited some of their most beloved plaid patterns from years past — a sort of greatest hits collection pulled from the UHF archive. This sax blue check is a callback to the sought-after 20th anniversary flannel from 2022, bringing that same clean vintage palette back in a lighter fabric.

Unlike earlier versions designed to fade heavily over time, these flannels are woven with reactive-dyed yarns for a richer, more colorfast finish that stays vibrant through years of wear. The fabric itself is something special too, woven on rare Japanese shuttle looms capable of switching weft yarns mid-weave to create these intricate plaid patterns. Only a handful of machines in Japan can actually produce fabric like this.

Finished in Iron Heart’s regular fit work shirt silhouette with classic white 4-hole buttons throughout. A solid everyday flannel with enough texture and detail to keep things interesting.
