4.8oz Nylon Type L-2B Jacket Navy

Iron Heart’s take on the classic L-2B flight jacket stays true to its military roots while dialing everything up in their signature way.

Originally issued to US Air Force pilots in the early 1950s, the L-2B was designed as a lighter, more streamlined alternative to the MA-1. Less bulk, more mobility. It didn’t take long before it found its way out of the cockpit and into 1960s youth culture, where it became a staple of that classic rebel uniform.

This version keeps the original spirit but upgrades the build. The outer shell is a smooth, scratch resistant 4.8oz anti static nylon, paired with a lightweight nylon taffeta lining. It naturally resists water, and Iron Heart added a non fluorine water repellent coating for extra protection without the harsh chemicals.

Finished with a tubular knit collar, cuffs, and hem, a two way zipper, and two interior gun pockets.
