Black Overdye Oxford

A black shirt with the familiar ease of an Oxford and a little more attitude.

Gitman makes this one from its 5 ounce Cambridge Oxford cloth, a textured cotton that feels substantial without being too heavy for year round wear. The overdye gives it a rich black finish, while the fabric softens with washing and wear. Wear it tucked in when the occasion calls for it, or open over a T-shirt when it does not.

The details are quietly excellent: a button down collar, chalk buttons, a chest pocket with V stitching, and a box pleat and locker loop at the back. It is the kind of shirt that becomes easier to reach for the longer you own it.
