The Calico has the spirit of a western shirt without leaning too hard on the costume. Freenote reshaped the usual sharp sawtooth pocket flaps into a single curved point, then echoed that curve across the front yoke. It is a small change that gives the whole shirt its own personality.
The gold corduroy comes from Japan and has a fine 13 wale texture. Pearl snaps bring the western character; precise double needle stitching keeps the construction sharp. Wear it on its own or open over a tee when the weather turns.
