This is one of the strongest shirts we’ve seen from Freenote. The Dayton is their take on a 1950s garage shirt, and the Harlequin fabric turns that familiar shape into something completely its own. The small-scale geometric pattern shifts between warm cream, burgundy, and deep navy, giving it movement up close without feeling loud from across the room.
The 7 ounce Japanese yarn-dyed wool blend has real texture and enough weight to wear like a shirt or a light overshirt. A camp collar, twin chest pockets, 1/8-inch double-needle stitching, and Italian mother-of-pearl fisheye buttons finish it with the kind of restraint that lets the fabric do the work.
Cut and sewn in the USA. Honestly, one of the coolest shirts Freenote has made.
